Colorado Court Services, LLC. are process servers that bring solutions to most common problems found with other private process servers. A Private process server should be able to answer all of your questions, and clearly tell you up front how they are going to handle your case.
1) How many attempts do you make on my case? All standard service cases receive 4 diligent attempts from an experience, trained, and professional process server over a period of ten days to include a morning, afternoon, evening and weekend attempt. Rush cases receive a total of 6 attempts to include 2 attempts the same day of receipt and 4 attempts over the first over a 3 day period.
2) What do you charge for standard service of process? Please visit our free quote page to get a quote on your service of process. Online account holders that pre-pay their cases receive special discounts on our already competitive process serving fees.
3) When do you make your first attempt on my case? All cases received by us are time-stanped and attempted within 48 to 72 hours of receipt in our primary coverage areas. The majority of process server firms today charge extra for this type of service.
4) What do you do if the defendant is evasive? We have been dealing with evasive defendants for a decade. We know every trick known to man to serve evasive individuals, and we will work out a cost effective plan to deal with these types of individuals. 90% of all defendants are served without the need for more advanced measures.
5) Are you going to work my case? Or one of your servers? The majority of all cases are served by the owner of the company. We are not trying to be the biggest process serving firm in the state. Our goal is to be the most professional, reliable and efficient process serving firm in the state.
6) How much training do your servers receive before they are put in the field? The owner of the company has 10 years of professional process serving experience. All other process servers receive a minimum of 30 days of hands on training before they are even allowed to handle any of your cases. Our statewide and nationwide network consists of other process serving firms that have been in this business for a minimum of one year.
7) How long have you been in this type of work?We have been in this business for 10 years. Before that, the owner of the business managed a legal department for a LARGE corporation in the state of Michigan and employed servers through that business for 4 years. Unlike most process serving companies. We have 10 years of process serving experience not 3 months of process serving and 11 years in other careers and call it 11 years of process serving experience.
8) Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee on your work?We offer a 100% satisfaction that we will attempt your cases as stated and that we will deliver your notarized affidavit of service within 24 hours of receipt, however we cannot guarantee that every single person will be served. There are too many variables to guarantee that all cases can be served. If an individual is in there home, and never comes out, we can coax them out of their home through techniques, but we can't force them out of their home. 90% of all cases are served within the 4 attempts and advanced measures can get 8% of the remaining 10% but 2% of people CAN NOT be served. Anyone that tells you they can serve 100% is not serving within the guidelines of the law. We care about our reputation in the industry and we will NOT violate the law in any way to serve your cases.
9) Do you carry Errors and Omissions and Liability Insurance?Although there are many process serving firms in the state and nation, very few of them are insured. We carry 1 million dollars in general liability and errors and omissions insurance for your protection.
10) How do you keep me up to date on my case?Do I need to call you for status of my case? Or do you contact me? Our online account holders receive 24/7 365 status to their claims via their online account and instant email notification. All cases are logged at the time of the attempt, and you are notified instantly of the attempt.
